New In

Morning everybody,
So, as I've told you a few days ago about my slightly different fashion view, here is what I have recently purchased to give you and idea of what my point is.

All of the items on the picture have been bought or in a charity shop or in a vintage one!
I am a bit against made in China, India, Indonesia or any other synonym of “sweat shop”.
This started to be my 2012 legacy…. So when I go shopping I try to recycle or purchase from local shops.

The great advantage of this way of buying is that you find genuine and unique items, is cheap (I have spent less than £40 for all these items)and you are helping to increase the demand for better working conditions in developing countries!!!

Vintage shops: jeans gilet, floral blouse, leather colar-necklace
Charity shops: Blazer, pearl, red and pinkish necklaces, pleated avocado skirt, pastel mint trousers, pastel pink and white top and leather black belt.

This colar-necklace was found in a vintage shop and it's made of recycled old leather goods from a London artist. Perfect example of a very fashionable item which is affordable and free of human rights violation.

Pastel fever

Hello everybody,

So, this as you can see is my first post in which I wish to tell you what my plans are for this blog.

I already had a blog a few years ago, it was about fashion and as usual I would post my outfits and comment on the current trends and so on.

Well, I deleted it because I couldn't see anything so special about it as there are many very similar.

This blog instead, will still be about fashion, but from another point of view. Studying International Relations and seeing what really happens behind the curtains I want to show you what fashion is really about!!

Don't worry though, it is still fashionably fun!

Which means... still outfits posted for you and fashion comments.... you will soon see what the difference is.
